Recent Events:
February 6th -
Troy Perry taught a public Concealed Carry class for a small group who braved the elements. After a week of pretty nasty weather, Saturday turned out to be pretty nice. I would like to thank those who made it and send well wishes to those of you who had illness in the family or bad weather conditions in your neck of the woods. We look forward to seeing those of you who missed the class. Please don't forget to contact us so we can re-register you for an upcoming class.
February 2nd -
The BIT/RSO class scheduled for February 26th & 27th is officially sold out! It took only 8 days! If you missed this class please fill out an instructor interest card and we will contact you soon with information about the next class.
January 25th -
The February 6th Concealed Carry Class is now closed and registration has opened for the next class to be held in March. If you missed registering for the Feb 6th class, you can get in on the March class by registering today. Click here to register.

Seats for the February 26th & 27th Basic Instructor and Range Safety Officer class went on sale. We sold 3 the first day before we could begin advertising, so register now if you want to get in.
January 23rd & 24th -
Troy Perry taught a private Concealed Carry class for a local Mooresville resident and several of her friends from Winston-Salem, Concord and Charlotte. (If you would like to schedule a private class, please contact us.)
January 21st -
Troy Perry, Howard Perry, Joe Balich and Mark Thompson met to discuss Mr. Thompson's role as the company's NRA Resident Training Counselor and Boy Scouts of America Liaison. Mr. Thompson has agreed to come on board and is as excited as the rest about the future of TCG. The group also discussed a date for the first BIT/RSO certification weekend and have settled on Friday, February 26th and Saturday the 27th.
January 20th -
Troy Perry completed the Range Safety Officer course through the NRA making it official that all of TCG's instructors are RSO certified.

February 26th & 27th -
Mark Thompson will be teaching Basic Instructor Training and Range Safety Officer in the classroom area of the Charlotte Rifle & Pistol Club's indoor range located on Independence Blvd next to the 485 outer-belt. The BIT class is an NRA pre-requisite to teaching disciplines such as Basic Rifle or Basic Pistol, and the RSO course is a requirement of TCG before taking any other instructor classes offered by TCG.
March 6th -
Concealed Handgun Permit Class: This is the class the state requires NC citizens to take before applying for a concealed handgun permit. Class will be held in the lodge of the Iredell County FOP #10 located in Troutman, NC. The lodge and range are easy to find and are located off of Exit 45 on I-77 just north of Mooresville, NC. Troy Perry will be instructing. Click here to register.
March 26th -
This date is reserved for a firearms class to be held at the Iredell County FOP Lodge #10. The class subject is yet to be determined.
