Recent Events:
March 6th -
Troy Perry taught a concealed carry class to eight students who passed with flying colors. We had two father/son teams and a husband/wife team. Thanks to W. Robbins for bringing his experience as a former police officer. The next class is March 27th and registration is going on now.
February 28th -
Absolutely fabulous! Lewis Perkins and Howard Perry taught 12 students the NRA Basic Metallic Re-loading class. Everyone enjoyed the class and we can't say enough about Lewis. Once again, thanks to CRPC for being such a gracious host and we look forward to our next re-loading class at their indoor facility.
February 26th & 27th
The BIT/RSO class came off very well. We had a total 19 students who all graduated and are ready to learn their disciplines so they may be able to instruct. Mark Thompson brought a lot of experience and wisdom, and the students gave a lot of positive feedback. TCG thanks Charlotte Rifle & Pistol Club for their hospitality. Keep checking back for our next BIT/RSO course offering it will be soon!
February 9th -
TCG announces the February 28th offering of NRA Basic Metallic Reloading. This class is designed to teach beginning re-loaders the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges. There are only 15 seats available for this class so register now.
February 6th -
Troy Perry taught a public Concealed Carry class for a small group who braved the elements. After a week of pretty nasty weather, Saturday turned out to be pretty nice. I would like to thank those who made it and send well wishes to those of you who had illness in the family or bad weather conditions in your neck of the woods. We look forward to seeing those of you who missed the class. Please don't forget to contact us so we can re-register you for an upcoming class.

The BIT/RSO class scheduled for February 26th & 27th is officially sold out! It took only 8 days! If you missed this class please fill out an instructor interest card and we will contact you soon with information about the next class.

Troy Perry will be at the C&E gun show representing TCG. We will have a limited supply of 9mm Para and 45 ACP on hand at some pretty remarkable prices. Come by and see us and get some info about our class schedule. You will be able to register at the show for any class that is scheduled.
March 27th -
Concealed Handgun Permit Class: This is the class the state requires NC citizens to take before applying for a concealed handgun permit. Class will be held in the lodge of the Iredell County FOP #10 located in Troutman, NC. The lodge and range are easy to find and are located off of Exit 45 on I-77 just north of Mooresville, NC. Troy Perry will be instructing. Click here to register.
March 27th -
NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Class: This is the class that is required, in conjunction with Basic Instructor Training, in order to be an NRA Certified Pistol Shooting Instructor. This class is full, but please Instructor Interest Card if you would like to be notified of our next offering.
April 18th - 19th
NRA Rifle Shooting Instructor Class: This is the class that is required, in conjunction with Basic Instructor Training, in order to be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. We are currently only taking registration from students who were have taken the BIT/RSO class that was offered on February 26th - 27th. If you would like to take the next BIT/RSO course please fill out an Instructor Interest Card and you will be one of the first to know about the next scheduled class.
April 24th
NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Class: This class is designed to teach the student the basics of re-loading center-fire cartridges. Anyone interested in taking up the hobby of re-loading ammunition should take this class. Some of our students have been re-loading for years when they took the class and were surprised at what they learned. Learn more about the class on our page dedicated to re-loading.
